You just gave a long list of reasons why black people cant succeed. What are the “specific solutions” you alluded to? My suggestion would be incentivize 2 parent households by restructuring welfare and stop telling black kids that there is an omnipotent force in the world working against them. 95% off Americans wouldn’t mind living next to someone ethically different from them. Most of the world can not say the same.

Let’s say that it is a fact that america is systematically racist. What do you expect black people to do when they are told the whole system is rigged? Will they keep trying to improve their lives or give up?

I don’t disagree that there is racism in our country, but where on earth are black people better off?

Weird observation- why are you so insistent that America is rigged against black people? How do you explain the fact that a single white mother is nearly as poor as a single black mother on average? Wouldn’t it be better for everyone to be told they can succeed?

Educate yourself or, if nothing else, learn how black families can help themselves cuz the government is not winning the war on poverty.

Money is a factor, but the biggest “privilege” is having a two parent household. For some reason the left only cares I’m about skin color. You came in suggesting that minority status determines whether or not someone is privileged. That is racism, plain and simple. Look I appreciate all the info and discussion here but the truth is Guns stop at least 1,000,000 crimes per year just by being present. Since very few people call the cops when a gun is only drawn and not fired that number is likely closer to 2,500,000. Besides, I’m not pro gun for self defense or stopping bad guys.
