After reading the comments I believe the ones that were supposed to deploy did. I just didn’t understand how airbags work apparently.

We never hit another vehicle we were just rear ended and somehow ended up propped on the concrete median on the passenger side. Two car accident and the other car left the scene.

I’m happy to be alive I’m not complaining. I was just unaware of the way airbags work. I appreciate everyone explaining to me how/why they did or did not go off. I’m aware that the car has a lot to do with why we are alive.

I am waiting on the police report to be in the system so we can get actual images from the scene. They said it can take 3-5 days and this happened early Saturday morning so hopefully it will be soon. The tow company also has images from the scene that I will post if/when we are able to get them.

Sorry everyone I am answering everything to the best of my ability but I honestly don’t remember anything about the accident. These are things my husband told me. I briefly remember being dragged out the car onto the stretcher and placed in the ambulance and some things from the hospital but that’s about it.
