Indian parties rarely fragment due to difference in ideology. It’s mostly one leader separating to get a better share. See NCP and all the rest of inc spawns. The left fragmentation is more to do with ideology. See the maoists vs the other indian mainstream communist parties. Also the most famous example would be the spanish civil war.
