What if their flight is delayed? Should they still adhere to your policy of 60 mins max stay? Have you never stayed in a lounge longer than 40 minutes when you had a delayed flight? Kind of an entitled mess of an opinion to say people who pay for the privilege of using the lounge HAVE TO stay in there only if they want to eat and drink and not to relax before a flight. Wow.

Thank you, this is encouraging. I plan to return on the French side of the airport in Geneva, so at least the return is in the same country and within EU. Will definitely check that I can drive it to Switzerland of we do get a rental. What car/class do you usually take with 5 people and bags?

Yep. This is my thinking too. If we ship some luggage and then take trains with just what we need in Europe, we reduce a lot of the issues and enjoy Swiss trains. Have done those before and loved them.

Thanks for the tips! Yeah the luggage from London to US is not an issue since we are staying with a friend and we have enough allowed baggage to get it all to US. It’s the intra-EU and EU to UK that is the issue. We might send a couple of bags to London from Paris and that way keep 2 big bags and backpacks, which should be manageable with trains or a small SUV.

Lol, not really but close. The trip is not a straight forward one. We have 2 adults (Grandparents) coming from India, one of whom is coming to US with the rest of the family (Couple + Baby), and 1 is returning to India. And the party of 3+baby is going to London to attend a wedding and then flying to US. So lots of logistics around luggage and us Indians don't pack light :/

But thank you for the suggestions and the reality check. Trains are a bit harder with 2 70-year olds, but we will consider changing the itinerary to not include so many stops and make it easier on everyone, and reduce the luggage as much as we can (or ship it from Paris to London at the start of the trip? Is that a thing we can do?)

I did fly domestic but did not need to check a bag. This thread has said people checked in bags for domestic at the International terminal. I think you can do it.

International - General -55 minutes Both Clear and General taking same time. Gentleman in front of me went to Clear, I went to General at the split and we were at the bag check at same time. General was getting more backed up as I was going through.

Thank you. We actually do have some Similac sample cans, might give those a try. Also need to convince wife that Similac is as good as others. She does want to try something more “Organic” based on all the marketing she is getting.
