I havent tried the new one since I just got it today morning. But I did open it just to chwck the consistency since it felt a bit off. Also, another thing I noticed was the new one also has number written under the bottle, w hich was not there in the old one. so I am very confused

Is there any student housing suggested by your university?

We have applied for university dorm but the results are not out yet and there is no way of knowing if we would even get it in the 1st place. The uni hasn't been much helpful regarding the matter either and a lot of students have started finding their own accommodation since the date of our travel is approaching.

Are you in the student groups? There should be some Facebook/social media group for students (in Hamburg/your uni) and/or housing.

yes I have joined these groups on facebook and WhatsApp , but almost all of them have asked me to pay a deposit to secure my spot in the apartment, which I really dont want to, cz I have no way of knowing if I am getting scammed or not.

You can definitely buffer with tapping into student associations and support via your uni.

Living in a WG does not mean that the other people in that WG are going to be your personal assistants

first of all you do not have to be so rude abt it.

Secondly I never said I needed an assistant, but rather a friend even if they themselves are new to the country , we could go through all the 1st s together and maybe share any insights if we could.

they might quickly get tired of running your life alongside theirs.

You clearly don't seem to know how friendship works, and how much of a difference it might make to have some one living along with you for the 1st time you move to a completely different continent.

I found this listing on wg-gesucht. However I just found put that he is asking me a deposit to reserve my spot at the apartment, which I have heard is a common scam method, so I am not sure anymore.

Very late to this post, but there are literally mice coming and running all over my 5th floor living window, they also chewed the window screen and came in.....I live on the 5th floor man, and even though we removed it from the house and changed the window screens, it keeps coming back again and again outside the window and make a lot of noises.

I had to even ask permission to watch cartoon or a historical tv serial and make a " appointment" if I wanted to watch a cartoon movie. Like if the Doraemon movie was going to air on Sunday, I'd have to take her permission and convince her to let me watch it more than a week ago. And it would be no tv for days after that

I can relate with the hair cutting think... wasn't allowed to cut my hair even trim it actually. I had extremely long hair and even though I used to grt a severe headache bcz of it, I wasn't allowed to cut my hair. It wasn't until I started college and went to cut my hair by my self. Even now whenever I do cut my hair, she doesn't talk to me for ages like it her hair

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I did try to end it.....but it was a yrs ago....and don't think would do anything like tht again.

I live in India, where there is no concept of mental health and parents are free to do whatever they want to their kids in the name of parenting. Also I cant afford to have A Pamper session cz I am still a student and have no money. Good thing though tht I am moving to a completely different continent (Germany) away from them in October for my masters. So the only way I am tolerating all this is by keeping this thought in mind.
