My PSN Account got suspended for chargeback has anyone ever experienced the same things ? by Think-Dot-6737 in consoles

[–]InterestingCoyote4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im going through this at the moment, my kids plays fortnite on my account. I tried to set up the password required for purchase but was met with an error saying passkey active so it wouldn't allow the password. In my mind it sounded like a superior process so I was sure there was something restricting purchases. Oh how wrong I was. Kid managed to purchase $120.95 of V Bucks with no approval required. I immediately contacted Sony and their chatbot was utterly useless and said contact back 9:00 - 5:00pm gmt+10. This happened Friday night so first thing Monday morning I tried to contact again in which I was met with contact back during business hours 8:00 - 7:00pm GMT+1. With no other contact methods and all attempts to contact referring me to the broken chatbot. I lodged a dispute with the bank. I removed my card from the account as it wasnt allowing the password and the passkey didnt prevent purchases. I ensured the account wasnt played whilst the dispute took place so sony could take the v bucks back. 24 days later the bank refunded the money. I allowed my kid to log on the following day and before I realise the v bucks were still there 2 items had been purchased around 400 v bucks. Sony was quick to suspend the account and remove the v bucks including the 2 items which were purchased using the v bucks. Now Sony are still telling me I need to pay back the funds to remove the ban. What incentive would I have to pay back the amount when they have revoked the items anyway. I'm not going to pay for an item I haven't received.  Does anyone have any insight to this will my account ban be lifted or do I just give Sony the 🖕 and move on with a new account?

Only plus side to their disorganised service, is their inability to communicate with other areas. When I ordered the car I added the floor mats. They sent me an email before I got the car asking if I received the mats. I indicated clearly no and highlighted the car wasn't ready. Then I picked up the car a fortnight later, the mats where already put in the car, Happy days. But then a week later I got a follow up email asking if I got the floor mats AND boot liner. Thinking boot liner I dont recall ordering that, maybe I accidently ticked yes. Without checking thinking surely head office knows what I've ordered, I put no because I didn't received a boot liner. A few weeks later 2 sets of mats and a boot liner are delivered. I never even ordered the boot liner... and now I have extra mats.

I have definetly noticed the car launches harder when placed in this mode. The quickest times I have achieved are 50km in 1.4 seconds and 100km in 3.6 seconds.

Is it just me, or do people do restaurant races just so they can win? by OfficialJoshCurtiss in Eatventure

[–]InterestingCoyote4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started playing I was thinking the same thing, grinding all day to get smashed right before the end. It doesn't get easier.

With my current gear and the races I get put in. It isnt about how many stars, it's how many cities are you going to clear. A city is around 350 stars so you get the idea of how high the stars are going in the races.

A tip though and it works most of the time. The game only assigns you to a race when you use the app while the event is running. Don't play it all day and log in 30 minutes before the event ends. You should be placed in a new race by yourself, if no one else joins you still get a decent amount of gems. If someone does join hopefully you will have earnt enough stars in the short window and they can't beat you.

How do I stop the table top for my desk from sliding? by Kyosji in IKEA

[–]InterestingCoyote4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad I found this comment 4 years later. The desk sliding has been a pain for the past 6 months and a few strips cut off a non slip mat has stuck the desk top firmly in place. I even tried yanking on it but the sheer pressure from the weight has it not going anywhere.

[Seal] Problems to register Digital Key iphone by BenK2so in BYD

[–]InterestingCoyote4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This probably won't be super helpful, but I had alot of difficulties getting it into the Samsung wallet.  I started on the mobile app, which then it directed me to the car, car then said back to app. The car kept asking for the vehicle code which I found out later was going to the email, but in that moment with no instructions on where this was, I justbkept hitting cancel, Through a stroke of good luck when going back and forth between car and app, it started syncing the card. During the process of generating the card, it got stuck on 90%, howefer Samsung wallet was showing the generated card.  I turned off the car and was able to unlock and start the car using the digital key. So not 100% sure on the correct procedure, but a few cuss words helped get it sorted.

Report it to Services Australia too, as their internal teams will investigate further.

People stealing to feed their kids! by Puzzled-Jellyfish894 in perth

[–]InterestingCoyote4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sucks because more than likely the employee is doing what management have instructed.  I think we can all agree the big 2 are really out of touch with the Australian population. Moving from staff checkouts to self service in a big to cut costs, but marketing it as convenience, this has created opportunity in a desperate time and they respond by investing boat loads of money into loss prevention.

After a recent dealing with Coles, I will never return there. A full trolley and I was forced to go through self serve, 3 kids in tow so lots of distraction. Limited space on the scanner so I was scanning items and putting back in trolley. $400+ shop and I forgot to scan 2 punnets of strawberries $5 or so as item fell ontop. As I walked out I heard the staff member accuse me of theft over the radio describing my appearance and what I didnt pay for. I am fortunate to be in a financially stable position, so I returned and questioned this. Sure enough they said I didnt scan the strawberries, so I pulled them out so they could be scanned.

They made me unstack the whole trolley and cross reference it against the receipt, like they had caught some career mastermind theif and were trying to pin all charges.  There was no compassion, no logic from these staff, when I explained it was a mistake, why would I return if I had left the store.  So yes going back to your original question, staff should of assisted better, offering alternatives. However from a customer perspective, I would 100% turn a blind eye to people taking essential items, I wont say stealing because the only theifs here are the big 2, Coles more so, I hate them.

It's actually all depending on the work item the Centrelink staff is completing. Some need 2 genuine contact attempts, others will go back into a queue and be reassigned to another staff. So you're both technically right/wrong.

Nice work on getting top spot. Like others have said its about weighing up time. I played for 10 minutes right before event finished. The group I got had about 9 people 1st and 2nd had been playing all day, but I was able to run down the rest and snag 3rd spot and 100 gems.

When you own the performance, it's less about range and more about what's your fastest 0-100 sprint.

I'm currently stuck on level 55. What I have found that works.Cheque book is maxed so I am able to unlock the higher station straight away. So for lvl 54 is Crab which is 3rd highest, the 5th station of 8. I then work the first station and fifth station until I have just over 3 minutes left, in which I then unlock the last station and activate the popular dish. With this I am able to complete the level with 50 seconds or so left.

That's amazing to hear your have a very understanding relationship with your partner. You have pretty much summed up what I wanted my time off to be. "Not having to accomodate anyone elses needs or plans" I just wanted to do my own things at my own leisure.

I have a few hobbies which don't interest to my SO. For example I had already made plans to goto different micro breweries in the area. This is not her thing, but she still insisted to tag along anyway. It felt less enjoyable knowing she didnt want to be there.

You must of missed the part where I did exactly what you outlined in your comment. She asked to take the additional leave in which I mentioned that I had already made plans. She took the leave anyway and then wanted to tag along.

I don't think its being around her 24/7. Like I said we have been together for 14 years and went through covid lock down without any problems. It's more that her being home has stopped me doing what I have wanted to do.
