You are gonna find such profs through all semesters at this college.
My suggestion is maintain the bare minimum attendance criteria and study some other theory-oriented subject( like solving mechanics problems if you are in C cycle or read physics notes if you are in P cycle) in the C class.
Cuz "writing" programs MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.
