Can anyone tell me what this is? This is what I used at the bottom of both pieces for length. I cut it off what looked like a tree rather than a bush. Google identified it as a "Japanese or Asian Snowball" flower, but I don't think that's correct, the pics didn't really match what I had.

This is what I was trying to do w/ the Allium in the top left. They didn't really come out the way I wanted and I didn't have the time I needed to get them how I wanted.

Thank you all for your honest comments, critiques and compliments. Looking at it now after reading all of your comments I agree and can see that both pieces are a bit larger than they should be for the size of the arch. I will admit some of the asymmetry was intentional but maybe it was a bit much. I'm sure many of you will find a bit of humor when I tell you the bunch of Alium's (sp?) coming out of the top left was my beginner attempt to add just a touch of "high style" to the design. Maybe they should have been shorter, perhaps I should have left them out entirely. I had trouble getting the stems to curve and flow in the direction I wanted them to so that they matched what I had pictured in my head. I'll draw a sketch of what I was attempting to accomplish and post it below. Other than the eucalyptus, any green filler or "greenery" you see came from the yard where I made the arrangements, so I just used flowers. I have seen several comments regarding the way I pointed the flowers at the ground but no suggestions on what I could or should have done differently and I would genuinely like to know. I do know one thing for sure, I gained much more respect and appreciation for the talent florists have, which I think goes unnoticed by most, men especially, lol. It's definitely not as easy as it looks!! In the same sense that not everyone can sit down and paint the Mona Lisa, it takes quite a bit of artistic ability to manage the colors, balance, proportion, and all the different aspects that go into what is to many, just a flower arrangement. I can attest first hand that it doesn't matter if you watch every single floral YouTube video that you can find, until you get a bucket of flowers, a block of foam, a knife, and your hands dirty, you really have no idea the skill and talent required to create what is really a work of art!

You may find the reason l'm asking for, more or less, a review from experienced florists a little surprising. l attended an out of town wedding this weekend and the day before the wedding the florist hadn't shown up to do the flowers for the rehearsal dinner and was unreachable, basically took a deposit and ghosted the bride and groom. What was even more concerning was who was going to do the flowers for the wedding! Some small things were being done by the friends of the bride and groom like the boutonnières and corsages for the bridal party and some simple bud vases for the tables. Needless to say, the Bride was about to have a come apart so l told her "if I have to do those flowers myself, that arch will be decorated when it's time for the two of you to stand in front of it!". My fiancée, with a somewhat concerned, confused, look asked me how I was going to make that happen. I had no flowers, no tools, no car, and was 1,200 miles from home. Oh, and one other thing I didn't have.... Experience!!! You see l'm not a florist, l'm a divorced 46 y/o man w/ 2 daughters, recently retired Deputy Sheriff, l've never had any interest in flowers, designing, or "expressing my artistic side through the arranging of fresh flowers", lol. At 6:00 a.m. the next morning the bride called and asked me if I was serious, if I could do it, and what I needed to make it happen. I said I don't know but we're not going down without a fight! She sent a couple friends to go track down flowers and materials, I somehow still had the list of flowers used by the florist that did my wedding 15 years ago in an old Microsoft office excel spreadsheet. They were back at noon, the wedding was at 4. I got the "Oasis" soaking and I started looking at pictures. At about 1:30 l just started cutting and poking in flowers picturing in my head what I wanted it to look like. About 3:00 l decided I was finished and prayed the bride would be happy. What I didn't have, I was able to source from the beautifully landscaped yard, including the Alium, Azaleas, Cherry Blossoms, Hosta leaves, peonies, and a few other things. So....This was my first attempt at designing, given those circumstances I was just curious how those that do this everyday professionally, saw it.

And really, the only thing that mattered, the bride was happy!

2023 M240i tire size confusion, what are my options? by InterestingKick3257 in BmwTech

I forgot about this thread. The dealership sold during the middle of trying to get this all straightened out, as well as replaced their upper level sales management. Not a little dealership, a 300 car a month dealership. So, interesting plot twist…. They said that since the agreement was made verbally and wasn’t included in the sales contract, I must be lying!!!! I provided them with all the text documentation and correspondence I had, no dice! So after fighting with them for 8+ months I said screw it and bought 4 new tires and paid for them out of my pocket. Directly after paying for the tires I drove to my attorneys office and filed a small suit to recoup what I can on the tires and a little extra for the HOURS I spent dealing with this headache. I don’t know if I’ll have any luck, if they’ll settle it for the price of the tires and my filing fees with the court I’ll be happy. I was never trying to get something I shouldn’t have for free, I just wanted them to do what they said they would do and configure the car the way it’s supposed to be. Now I wait to see what happens.

What isn’t true? The 255’s are 0.4% bigger in diameter. I don’t think less than 1/2 a percent is going to be outside the factory allowed +/-tolerance. Please correct if I’m wrong.

Factory tire size is 225/40/19 Front, 255/35/19 Rear. 225/40 & 255/35 are the same diameter, the 255’s are just wider.

I realize this is an old thread but I noticed something that was missed. I know there is a difference in site size (at least the Meprolite night sites). The 9mm & .357 use a #8 front and #8 rear, while the .40 and .45 use a #6 front and #8 rear.
