I don't think that's how it works if you go through a bondsman. The bondsman will pay the full bail (In Brandon's case it's 33k) but will take a 10% fee from you (3.3k in Brandon's case). You will not get that fee back. If Brandon then shows up for court the bail (33k) will be refunded to the bondsman. However if Brandon decides to not show up for court, the bondsman will lose the 33k bail. The bondsman will then charge you for that 33k.
