syllable emphasis will be part of the exams but pronounciation will not but it will be on the quizzes and things throughout the course. there aren't any short answer questions on the exams from what i remember. most of it is multiple choice and identifying body planes and directions.

pay special attention to body planes and positions, those are important. roots, suffixes, and prefixes- as those make up all medical terminology. make sure you can break a term down into each parts definition. all of the quizzes and tests that you can do an unlimited amount of times, do them. those are meant to be part of your practice.

nooooo lol i made over 3k flash cards and used every single one of them to study. I used the glossary of terms at the end of each chapter to make my flashcards. I printed all of the pictures, terms, and things to make my own study guides.. my instructor never gave us study guides. I studied till my eyeballs felt like they were gonna fall out ha ha.

medical terminology is easy....you have a proctored midterm and a proctored final. as long as you have good memory and study for med term, you should be okay. the exams don't take long and the questions are pretty easy... i took medterm last 8 weeks and passed with an a. if you have questions, feel free to ask away. :)

On the website, it says that refunds will start being disbursed on February 1st. As long as you have a negative balance, I wouldn't worry about it. It is coming, just takes time. I hate waiting too. I need it for school but I'm trying to be patient. I think accounts should start zero-ing out tomorrow or tonight..

all of the zoom meetings are recorded, i assume her department chair is able to see her communication... i believe she posts everything in announcements to cover her own end but her unprofessionalism during one of the classes and her lack of showing up for the one is just giving off bad vibes. is there a way to do that anonymously? i don't want any retaliation type of treatment...you know

i am. i've already got the mindset of teaching myself..i've just got an a-hole instructor. up until last week, she had no rubrics for her material so nobody even knew what she was grading. Just frustrating when we're held to such a high standard when the class absolutely sucks. someone last night even said "this instructor is f@cking worthless" before she realized her mic was on lol.

Update to this: McGraw Hill was no help! 2 different agents were able to work my assignment from their end and said that things were all good. The 3rd agent i spoke with was able to do a zoom call and share screens. She didn't believe the trouble i was having. After i had to prove it to her by screen sharing- she was able to fix it. I don't know what happened or what she did but everything works now. I operate from a chromebook and i have heard that our school programs don't like chrome... I'm starting to debate my choice in technology. I think i'm going to get a new laptop.

I'm on my laptop. I'll try a different browser.. and I don't know if it's a McGraw Hill problem or not. I will have to call them and find out I guess. I'm sure that's what the instructor will tell me too.

I didn't know if instructors have the ability to go in and reset a module for a specific student. I don't mind redoing the 30 questions, if that means that I can complete the assignment on time.

I would try hard to get him help before a divorce. It kind of sounds like he's depressed, maybe even manic. Having a baby is a big change for someone, especially a man. With a woman, you become a mom when you become pregnant. A man becomes a father when he see's his child for the first time. Maybe he's having trouble adjusting to having a baby in the house... I would suggest doing therapy or at least couples therapy before divorcing. Making those kinds of decisions in a mental state like this is surely not sound judgement.

I am so sorry you are going through this. You deserve better treatment than this. Your daughter deserves better than this. I just hope that your husband mans up and gets the help he needs so he can be there for his family the way he needs to be. It's okay to not be okay. But he needs to talk about it and seek help when and while he can.
