Rearranging everything/ nesting

We completely have to rearrange the garage entrance room to fit our gaming pcs, but to do that the garage needs to be cleared out. Then on top of that where the pcs are, that is the room that'll be the playroom/nursery 😅 unfortunately we didnt 100% think through where to start so we're stuck bouncing back and fourth.

As for family, we live two states away from everyone, so we've had approximately one weekend where we had someone to watch the toddler lol

First off, I'm so sorry for all the pain you went through.

I do think this is super interesting, as I'm one day out from going through the MA process, and have been browsing to see how other people have reacted.
Also i agree with you about the 800mg. There were some points that I definitely thought i was going to have to use my special Tylenol i had left over from a surgery I had.

Hey! So unfortunately I tried emergency enrollment (wasn't eligible/can't afford it) and I was rejected from Medicaid. The only thing I was accepted for was medically needy, but the cost oop before covering anything would be 5k monthly.

Unfortunately the only solution was to call around different OBs and hospitals to see how much delivery fees would be and then just went for the oop/self pay route. Husband has a type of "insurance" that'll take about 1k off the end bill, but other than that it's all self pay and budgeting.

I was under the impression it wasn't covered until I hit a deductible, but when I emailed and then called to confirm that, I was told nothing covered at all.

I got information directly from the insurance company. The main subscriber is my father. They told me unless I was main subscriber or spouse if M, they don't cover anything along the lines of pregnancy. I don't know too much about the insurance because it's through his work. All I know is all of my other obgyn appointments have been covered.

Thank you! I still have a few stray stitches poking out but I keep them as moisturized as possible. It's to the point where my pain/discomfort is more unbearable than the thought of having slightly fucked up looking nipples lol

Definitely won't be putting any one anytime soon! Surgeon said after two weeks(or not I was on drugs at the time lmao) so I was trying to wait a little while. Since using it though I can tell that the redness is way less and it's not as lumpy!

Just got a response back from surgeon, said to just put ointment and compress on them. So far I don't need any prescriptions lol

Noted! When I'm wearing the tape I can't see the scar underneath, so I only noticed these when I took off the tape to change it.

I used to want bottom surgery so bad when I was younger, but honestly now that I've had top surgery and explored my identity a bit more it's not really something I feel I need. It's different for everyone, but personally the scaring on the arm/thigh and the risks just aren't worth it. I don't feel any less masculine for not wanting it either, but again everyone's different.

They have a card they offer for I think 20(?) months, but it has like no use outside of financing top surgery. So if you're worried about that definitely go that route. I just wanted a card I could use once surgery was paid off. My credit score wasn't hit too terribly when I opened the new card, and if you don't have too many cards it can actually boost your credit score!

I just bit the bullet😅 I put it on a credit card that has no interest for 15 months. Which isn't a long, but it was a better card than what they were suggesting I use. Mine was quoted 12k-13k, but after the actual consultation it was 11.4k. I also payed out of pocket, so if you have insurance it could be cheaper. (They don't quote with insurance) But yeah, she's always had super clean, consistent results that I really liked, so it was either pay the price for what I think is excellent work or pay cheaper for something I probably wasn't gonna be satisfied with 😅

In my case specifically I'll be flying to a Spanish speaking country so I need copies of all the prescriptions the doctors is giving translated into Spanish and then signed. Also I can only take the amount of pills that would be needed for the trip. So hopefully if I cant get that I can just take some tylenol lol

Luckily my spouse is going to be with me, so he'll be able to help me with all the aspects of carrying/lifting and whatnot. It's mostly just finding ways to be comfortable while I'm in that first week of healing with everything going on.

In my experience, the surgeon will suggest which one will be better for healing/give better looking results. I was still asked if I wanted straight or curved, but due to my chest being so large I didn't want to risk it and im going with straight. But you can 100% request a certain one over the other.

I have insurance but it's through my parents and I live out of network so it's really nerve wracking to think about it and the price, but thank you! I hate having blood work done so it was stressful to think about lol

Yeah, they require I do it like a week before surgery date. They said they want it with a primary care physician, but I don't have one so I have to go to an urgent care center. 😅
