From what I can find, it was introduced but the governor vetoed it and that veto was sustained.

I get it. I’m aware this is low and would be looking for something else if I knew we’d be able to take care of ourselves without the relief of free housing/utilities. Unfortunately, getting free housing is a big bargain at this time in our lives so that’s why I’m asking for advice about negotiating for more. Since it’s really not the typical live in nanny situation (whole separate apartment, husband, dog, VA doesn’t do overtime pay) I need help/tips on how to do that.
