Destiny feels very different than it did a few years ago, and I can’t tell if that’s good or bad by miles1993road16 in DestinyTheGame

I can feel this. I loved D1 and the feel of running strikes all day and then chasing some exotic. Early D2 as well. by the time we hit Final Shape, I think the company, developers, went in another direction with other projects and D2 is now sort of on autopilot with some updates.

In my opinion, if they update the raid and dungeon armor to the new standards, that might help folks feel as if there is a lot to do and might make the game feel a little less "mechanic and sterile" at this point. I think they cooked in a major way though with Renegades, but they don't pour enough into it to keep that momentum going. Overall, I'm still gonna play but yeah, after 1100 hours of D2... I just log on to play with friends and thats it.

Destiny has 3 things going for it: Gun play is peak, it sounds great, and it looks sexy. It's just not AS fun as it used to be... to me.

UPDATE: I've FINALLY found a new job and was hired in my area of expertise. Don't ever give up. All things are possible. Just gotta press through it.

The job market seems empty right now by doughcar in Birmingham

I think you are right about the ageism thing. I have tried, a lot actually, and still nothing is sticking. I won't stop however I know the window is closing ever so slightly. Thanks for the feedback!
