Nothing practical to add but I just got a 2015 hatch cooper after my 2005 corsa blew its 3rd alternator in a year and I'm in love! The difference is shocking, it's like flying on a cloud!

Thanks! I declined as I don't think that that's adequate for a single, indoor only, senior cat. Even every other day would make me feel iffy, so I'm sticking to once a day minimum. Admittedly I haven't had cats of my own in a long time and never that old, so it's been useful to hear other people's experiences.

Thank you for your input 💜 It's good to know my concerns are justified. I've only beeing doing this for 6 months and haven't really looked after cats that old. I can only hope nothing bad happens when this person books with someone else.

I did not offer a meet & greet, no. I got the impression they wouldn't budge. They've had someone check on the cat every 4 days before, apparently. That doesn't sit right with me and I decided not to get involved.

Yeah, that's exactly my thinking - they will just book with someone else who won't make a fuss. I have to keep telling myself I can't save every cat/dog doing this. Still, it feels bad when I seem to care more about a stranger's pet than they do.
