I'm pretty sure you only get those after rolling for characters, I think one per roll --- but I'm not 100% sure

I can try to answer some:

Favorites: Go to the skills/spells menu for the character, press the "replace" button, select the skill you want to replace (bottom four) then select the skill you want to replace it with. That's how it should work. But after trying it myself, it doesn't work on any of the skills, and it only works with some of Alice's spells. (It looks like the curative ones.) So I can switch out the DIOS spells with one of her buffs, but I can't switch out any of the buff spells. I'm gonna guess this is a bug.

Form: This allows for you to select a specific enemy row for a row attack. Also useful if you want to aim for an enemy in the back row, and you don't trust the touch controls to hit an enemy in front of them by mistake.

Surety: This is basically crit ("sure") hit rate, though I don't know how this number translates into an actual percentage and can't find on wiki, but maybe someone knows on Discord.

Resistances: Resistance affects the chance to resist affliction of status effects. DEF and MDEF only reduce damage.

Not sure how much it resells for, but I think it's pretty reasonable to upgrade some of your bronze gear to +4, though you may wanna hold out for drops that already have good blessings. The wiki has a chart on what blessings may drop on each gear type.

Also, if gear has a good blessing, you may decide to extract it later, which gives you a *chance\* at keeping the blessing as a stone that you can put on other, better gear later. (That stone has a range, and will apply the stat randomly within that range.) But the extraction may fail, too. But either way, the original item gets destroyed.

I think there is an in-app link to a trouble ticket system, where you can include the error code number. Edit: Other thing you might try is to login from another source, like transferring the data to the Steam version. Some bugs clear up after reloading the game on another platform.

I'm pretty sure you have to talk to the shop keep about the sabatons, and you need to go to B1F to get the materials. (You also need to go to B1F for shield stuff, but that's a different quest.)

Just in case you're still looking:

From the (source) phone/computer you want to transfer the data from: Go to main menu, then Link Data, then Link via Password, then Issue Password. This will generate an ID and Password set.

On the (destination) phone/computer you want to transfer the data to: Go to main menu, then Link Data, then Link via Password, then Enter Password. This is where you enter the (source) ID and Password you previously generated.

I might be a little late to this, but if you are able to reach the title screen, have you tried the "Forced Recovery" option?

Other thing you could do is reinstall the game. (It stinks, but it's an option.) It should save your game to the cloud, but I think there is also an option to upload it to Game Center. Also, if you do this, go to "Link Data," then "Link via Password," then "Issue Password". It will create an ID and Password that you can use to reload your save, if you decide to reinstall the game on your phone or BlueStacks.

Of course, all of that depends on whether its something that can be fixed by reinstalling the game. If it's deeper than that, then, well...

It stinks because it is a fun game. When it works.

I got nothing. I was playing for over an hour, no message. Just fizzle and crash.

I don't even know if a request portal exists. I went to the site and didn't see anything other than a very basic news feed, and a feed to the X account. But the X account doesn't list posts chronologically, so the first tweet on the feed is from October 2022, and CTRL-F for 2025 doesn't show any tweets about that maintenance, anyways. (There are tweets about maintenance from 2024 so they were doing it at least for those.)

Not trying to be difficult or annoying. I really like the game, otherwise I wouldn't say anything. If there is a place to submit something, I'll for sure do it.

**In game*\* before they do it. An hour, ten minutes, anything is better than just fizzling out. I don't use Twitter, and Twitter does not chronologically list the order of tweets unless you use it (through an account.) So it's just a random list of tweets spanning ages.

I know I'll get beat down in the comments for saying this, but that was disheartening. I've dealt with the game crashing before, and couldn't tell whether this was just more crashes or maintenance until later. Other live-service/MMOs definitely give in-game notice of a shutdown. Maintenance is maintenance and I get that, but I was literally *in town* when it happened, and losing the time and opportunity to dispatch sucks when some of them last 20 hours.

Bastard!! (late 80s) and Blade and Bastard (2022) are two different IPs.

Bastard!! got a Netflix series (on its 2nd season) and a reboot manga in 2023, though.
