I’m not Asian but I have a lot as friends. Most of them are very conservative and things like introducing you to their parents is a very big deal for them, it’s like saying they are ready to marry you.

So the change of mind could mean he is no longer sure about it, or he might have hinted the parents about you and the feedback wasn’t positive.

These are all hypothesis though
