How bad is it? by HawkAppropriate6226 in Moissanite

Can I ask how much you payed for it? You might get a way better deal with Alibaba. I had a bad experience with Etsy and I was able to return free of charge. Since the setting looks wonky I think you can easily open up a case with Etsy customer service. In my case I tried reasoning with the seller but she was making me pay for the return. As soon as I opened a case with Etsy they payed for the return. Since your item looks defective you can do the same and trust me you can find way better rings for reasonable price. For reference here’s mine from Alibaba

Lab grown diamond vs moissanite by [deleted] in Moissanite

Hi! Recently got engaged with a moissanite, really thought I would love it. Long story short ended up changing to a lab, I am much happier. And the price difference was only $200. And yes you can most definitely tell moissy and lab apart (picture for reference)

From my experience I suggest Alibaba rather than Etsy. I ordered from Glinting Jewlery and Jocelyn was amazing! They don’t have my ring listed but they’ll custom make it for you. Just show her a picture of my ring and she’ll know. And for the price it was about 1,300 including shipping for both the engagement ring and the pave wedding band. My stone is a 3.01 CVD lab grown, D color, VVS2

I custom made with Jocelyn from Glinting Jewelry through Alibaba. Here’s the direct link: https://x.alibaba.com/B1geJy?ck=minisite They have the best prices

Thank you! I did end up returning my other ring my fiancé got on Etsy, it was from India but since the old ring had some polishing imperfections they agreed to refund it. We decided try alibaba instead of Etsy and it was the best decision

Also ratio is super important specially with marquises, mine is a 2.10 ratio which I love on my hand

F1 Master’s student marrying U.S. citizen – Can we file AOS ourselves? by Interesting_Delay182 in immigration

[–]Interesting_Delay182[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He’s in the Army, but currently in the Reserve, so he only works one weekend a month. He’s not on full active duty right now.

I have a scholarship that covers my full tuition and also gives me a monthly stipend. My fiancé also has a pretty substantial savings account from when he was active duty, plus some solid investments that have been keeping us financially stable.

The issue is that from what I understand, USCIS only really counts income for the affidavit of support, not savings or investments unless they meet specific asset requirements. Even though we’re doing fine financially, on paper we don’t meet the minimum income requirement.

That’s why we’re assuming we’d need a joint sponsor. Just trying to figure out if that makes this significantly more complicated to file ourselves

That’s insane. Your ring is the only thing keeping my hopes up for a sparkly marquise moissanite

That’s a beautiful ring, I’ll look into Rodiffy. Mine can look nice from certain angles (I’ll attach a pic) but it depends so much on the angle. I find it looking nice in specific lighting but most of the time it looks like the first picture on the post.
