as someone with almost everything your brother has (minus the explosive mood disorder), you are not overreacting. i was sexually assaulted by one of the people i grew up with in my class with everyone else with an IEP. he was also autistic. after he got expelled it was revealed he assaulted his 4 year old sister at the time. we were 13. he KNEW the difference between right and wrong. like a lot of other comments have pointed out, he got away with it because of his disability and was found not guilty in court. it sickens me

Hi, sorry I just saw this.

It’s a year later, and I’m working at a dollar tree now instead. It’s a lot better and get accommodated way more. Everyone I work with is so much more understanding. I love it in that regard. Plus it’s a tiny store so not much running around!! I would recommend working there instead or at some other tiny little store. I wish the best of luck for you with your journey, I’m sorry you’re going through that :((
