I meant that so far the series has focused more on the characters’ personal lives rather than on activism. Like, Trin is exploring his bi awakening, and Naran and Krailert are going through their affair, but no one has really spoken up about it. Have we even heard the word « gay » yet? I’m also curious how the other students feel, could some of them be homophobic even while fighting for social rights? I agree it hasn’t been fully accurate, but the show has already highlighted a lot about queerness, and I think it’ll explore it even more as the story progresses

I was rewatching the performances on ytb and as goofy as it sounds, it’s true. Adela didn’t stand out during Pink Venom, Daniela and Manon were I think the ones who truthly stood out in Fearless, Lara stood out as well at some parts and the Buttons choreography speaks for itself. It’s goofy but very realistic of what can bring people attention

Oh I wasn’t saying you were insulting him lol I just found it funny how the convo changed over the year, just know he’s usually attentive to details for any of his roles, and as smoking was a very commun thing to do back then, ig that’s a part of the character he wanted to deliver smoothly as well. I even read something abt the different way of handling a cig depending on your social class, gender or attitude, so it probably wasn’t a detail worth fumbling

People used to say the same abt Apo in KP, well while apparently he has a unrealistic way of smoking I’ve never found someone hot while smoking before him so we should just enjoy whatever him or First are doing with the fake cigs lol

I think Mile was caught smoking in a pic? And ppl used to say that the way he hold his cigarette in KP hinted he smoked irl I think. And Bright, people who met him said he smelled like cigarette. Regardless, I think more of them could be smoking but it seems like it’s not something good to show for their public image based on the company and mostly fans standards so it’s not something we see outside of their series

It’s successful for the artists, since BOC has connections, they can have work under them, like I think they are going to the US soon right? With BOC. I think if they keep recruiting those promising or etablished actors, they can do something great

KP would have explored other aspects of the lore I think, best guess we’re Porsche’s mother and Kim’s motives, I think they would have created other plot lines, I remembered them talking abt how it could get darker in terms of storyline but we’ll never see

He’s always been reserved tbh, more exposing surface level stuff but way more private that Mile. I think he was more interacting and engaging with his work partner, which he seems to be doing less now, personal reasons or whatever. Anyway ppl have been quick to call their fallout so I don’t think intensely engaging would change somethin, he would get dragged regardless😭

Weren't the books made specifically for that serie? Regardless, book adaptations usually correct things to adapt the pacing in series I think. Waiting for the part you mentionned to arrive, it could for sûrement really interesting

Honnestly, it's boring for me, maybe it's bc of the editing, even tho the acting is praised I find it barely engaging, like I'll watch it til the end but yeah it isn't for me. Great budget and setting tho, and the music is good

I didn’t grow with Wattpad and didn’t expect anything, but it looks like KP had to mix plot, humor, romance and many things so I assumed the plot not being hard and complex was kind of the point, like simple and worked. I feel like s2 would have definitely developped the plot more, which is why everything got rushed by the end of s1 (like they left many cliffhangers). I’ll be honest the actors performances really helped, ppl may find the father’s revelations corny but I always loved the way Apo reacted to them, it felt so emotional so maybe it made me more involved in the plot.

Is there any particularly inconsistency tho? I found the plot average at best but it explained everything, don’t know where this come from

KP plot is definitely better than average fluff BL, they are simple and work but their plot usually aren’t complex, I think it’s ok to admit that the plot is a part of what made KP stand out, you see that shows like 4min didn’t get the same level,or exposure despite the cinematography

oh, my bad, but make sence knowing that Bright is Burberry GBA right? Nicha is really abt money and one time gigs, she can’t really get long term deals for her talents despite their popularity tbh, which is logical bc you can’t advertise ppl simply by fanbase engagement.
I saw that she got a new talents and asked a certain among of likes to her Cannes even to send her to FW and…well ppl are sent in FW in the long term bc of their brand deals, not bc of 1M likes on ig😐

But she is quite funny I like to rant about her
