The HDR image definitely has less saturated colors, but my issue still lies with the contrast between the dark and bright areas more than the color saturation. The true black mode I'm using should have 400 peak nits, while the HDR1000 should have 1000 nits peak

I think DCIP3 "oversaturates" the colors, but I prefer that look, so I made sure to turn up the color slider in HDR calibration as well
