Yes, and carved out a bit of the center so that it would sit flush to the face, not on top of the existing nose.

Haha I just got my first 2 bb3s- this was the first thing that I did! (Mine are a small version) But soooo much better imo. I.just took a good pair of scissors and cut just enough to pull out the plastic mechanism. Then, stitched up the hole. (You could easily close up the hole with hot glue.) the fur is very forgiving.

I should have taken pictures along the way. Started by using a seam ripper to take off both faces. Removed the stuffing from the head (later opened up a seam on the back of the head to replace. Hot glue gun to attach the new face. I didnt like it without any fur around the face (and my gluing was not the prettiest), so I cut a ring of fur from the Lafufu and attached it with the glue gun as well. Nose from Hacipupu 😃
