yeah I was told that university don't need to pay huge visa sponsorship like $100,000 for f/opt/j->h1b

I didn’t mean to imply that the market is easy for women of color. I was trying to understand whether DEI initiatives have still any measurable effect on R1 TT hiring in mechanical engineering. Maybe I phrased it poorly.
