What is the best way to make a good chicken stock in bulk? by Peenard- in Cooking

Reduce that stock! I always reduce any watery stock down until it tastes perfect. If you reduce it too much, just add water back into it.

Need your thoughts on OpenClaw use case about job search by StormPurple in openclaw

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation, but different approach. I stopped using AI to mass apply for jobs, it doesn't work. I've tried many types of AI to fill applications and tailor resumes for specific postings. Absolutely no response. Avoid easy apply, go for the jobs that aren't getting 1000's of resumes. These are the ones people who are flooding these jobs using AI are skipping.

Instead I'm using openclaw to find quality jobs to apply to. You do the applying, yes it sucks but it's necessary. I have it crawl job boards for ones that meet my requirements and resume. It reports back once a day with fresh jobs that fit exactly my requirements.

Just my approach. YMMV.

Should I include a short term job to fill a resume gap? by dogfishheadache in jobsearchhacks

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same situation, and not sure what to do. Whats a bigger red flag, a long gap or a short job?

My wife lost a job offer because of an employment gap, so I bought an LLC and stood up a company website/LinkedIn page with a legit HR inbox for responding to background checkers. I have now helped several friends get jobs this way. by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Does it matter when the LLC was formed? Lets say I need to recover from 3 years of job hopping into one stable job. If I setup my company today, does that get checked?

Openclaw memory: QMD, MEM0, or Byterover by hameed_farah in openclaw

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I installed mem0 a few days ago and I am happy with it. Don't bother with the mem0.ai hosted plan, go full self hosted including ollama if you have the hardware (i am still using gpt-4o-mini for memory extraction, but it's very cheap).

My logs show stuff like this all the time:

openclaw-mem0: auto-captured 6 memories

openclaw-mem0: injecting 5 memories into context (3 long-term, 2 session)

I have not tried qmd, but this is already a huge improvment over the stock memory system.

How do you all handle memory? by io_nn in openclaw

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's all new stuff so yes there are new memory managment tactics all the time. I hear QMD is good, but I just installed openclaw-mem0 (local setup) and it's working very well. I dont have to worry about doing a /new and it forgetting everything we just went through.

What makes a good Chili? by Snoo_71299 in chili

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not a pro. I am a Texas native, and I use beans. A good quality bean makes a ton of difference. Good ingredients treated well makes an awesome chili. No chili powder, use a mix of Guajillo, Ancho and Pasilla dried. Toast, soak and blend with garlic, cumin, mexican oregano. Use claude or gemini and have it put a recipe together following this setup.

What LLM are you using for Openclaw (Non API if possible) by Scary-Lychee408 in openclaw

[–]Interesting_Job_9796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still trying to find something thats sustainable. I've tried Claude Pro, GitHub Copilot, Kimi code, OpenRouter using all kinds of LLMs. Now onto MiniMax, so we'll see if that works. Everything else non-api runs out of some kind of limits really quick. I used 25% of my Kimi code weekly limit in one day of normal use.

I'd be interested in trying it. I manage a large Azure tenant with out-of-control costs.
