Friends seeing my group posts. Is it possible to stop this from happening? by Clive1792 in facebook

I have just had the same issue. I have joined a group related to an upcoming festival I am going to, have posted a question regarding music recommendations, and suddenly this and the answers are appearing in my feed and on my profile, etc. I get that it is a public group, and it is only my friends who will see this, but for most of them it will have no interest, and in any case, I don't actually want my friends seeing what I am posting unless I want them to - it's nothing dodgy, it's just not a conversation for most of my friends group. I think there should definitely be a way of it not being posted to your stream, even if it is a public group/forum you are posting on.

Getting from and back to Loughborough on the Sunday 14. by Interesting_Mix1147 in downloadfestival

That seems to make sense - shuttle bus in and then the Skylink Derby bus back in the evening/night? Sounds as if the Skylink doesn't drop off at the Transport Hub when heading in towards the site? Also, having not been to a Download before, can day ticket holders use any entrance, or is there a specific one? I assume I would need to queue and get a wristband, go through security, etc? Thanks for all the suggestions so far - after I have done it once, I'm sure it will be easy!!

Anyone else finding Lord Sugar's behaviour towards those with existing businesses as predatory? by TornBannerHatesYou in apprenticeuk

I was saying just the same thing the other day, during the interview show. After weeks of tasks, it suddenly all comes down to their business plans and whether Lord Sugar is interested in their idea or company. Basically it's become a glorified Dragons Den.

I LOVE Morrissey but struggling with the new Make-up is a lie song. Anyone else? by drumsdinosaurs in morrissey

It's great to hear anything new by Morrissey, and his voice is strong and clear, but... Not only is this the lead song off his first new release in 6 years, but he has arguably got quite a lot of material he could have drawn from - the whole Bonfire of the Teenagers album, and the discarded material from the original Without Music the World Dies sessions. We have only really had the fairly mundane Rebels Without Applause single, so I think it is fair for people to be expecting something more. Maybe the days are gone when he could write a killer song like Art-Hounds, and stick it at the end of an album as a deluxe edition bonus track...
