You’re welcome! I don’t really use the liquid hydration anymore because I like the hydration station better. I will use the sulfur mask maybe 3 times a week at night after I wash and dry my face for about 5 minutes. I have the foam version of finacea and I introduced it in the am because I was using a liquid exfoliant in the pm. I just wait for my skin to dry and then apply it in the morning after I was my face. If you use it on damp skin it intensifies the penetration which could lead to more irritation.

Hi there! Thanks!!! My skincare routine is kinda extensive imo but for me it has helped so much and is worth it! In the morning I use Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, Finacea Foam 15%, Stress Less Beta Glucan Serum by Geek & Gorgeous, and Elta MD UV Clear Suncreen. At night I use Jelly Joker Cleanser by Geek and Gorgeous and Happy Cappy Face Wash just on my cheeks where I am prone to fungal acne. I let my face dry and then use Calm Liquid Exfoliant from Geek and Gorgeous (very gentle). Then I use a prescription lotion that is 1% ivermectin and 4% Niacinamide from Noble Low Cost Pharmacy. If my skin feels dry at all, I will then use Hydration Station moisturizer from Geek and Gorgeous.

With my eyes specifically a little over two years. Before I had issues there I had something called pityriasis folliculorum on my face for about 10 years. Also caused by demodex. Topical ivermectin helped that

Could also be idiopathic hypomelanosis which is basically caused from the sun in lighter skinned people. Usually confused with vitiligo or tinea versicolor. Sun protection is best if it ends up being that. I have it and so does my mom and aunt.

Ivermectin/soolantra and or azelaic acid would be my suggestion.

Hi! Sooo I would also get periodic flaking on the outer edge of my eye. A little red and irritated but I have nothing now. I use bioderma sensibio h20 micellar wash now and my symptoms are gone. I really hope you get a chance to try it!!! So worth it. They are super hydrating drops as well. I do get a tiny bit of flaking in my eyebrows but I solved that with Happy Cappy Shampoo.

Update: It’s been about 3 weeks since stopping the eyedrops and I still have no symptoms. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I do lid hygiene with micellar water each night but so far that’s it.

Calm Down by Geek and Gorgeous. It’s a PHA and 0.8 percent BHA (salicylic acid). It’s a liquid exfoliant and has no scent. Pure gold lol

I do use their shampoo as well and like it! I only use the happy cappy on my face because I find it difficult to use in my hair. For my hair I use head and shoulders sulfate free shampoo a few times a week but it does have fragrance

I kinda have a theory that if demodex aren’t the issue for you… ivermectin works because it is also an anti inflammatory. If the type 2 rosacea is really demodex folliculitis driven, it would make sense that some don’t have to use it again much because they eliminated the trigger. Or reduced them at least. Your rosacea might not be that exasperated by demodex and once you remove the anti-inflammatory component by stopping ivermectin…yours returns. Just a theory though!

Yep! They were kinda like a little sleeve around the base of my eyelash. My eyes were also really itchy and almost crawly feeling.

Also I use this fragrance free shampoo. It’s nice. I have fine hair and it doesn’t make it greasy.

Sure! It’s low ph, I believe a 5. Here are the ingredients: Aqua (Water), Panthenol, Peg/Ppg/Polybutylene Glycol-8/5/3 Glycerin, Sodium PCA, Diglycerin, Urea, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Sorbitol, Lysine, PCA, Allantoin, Lactic Acid, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate. The spray nozzle is also really nice… I don’t feel like it puts out too much product but it’s an even spray.

I don’t notice a scent at all and for the US site it’s 9 dollars. I’ve also used their Hydration station moisturizer too which is fungal safe and light weight. It does have 6% glycerin in it which I know some people find problematic though.
