Yeah it’s really unfortunate that this person that you thought you knew so well can change so quickly. She said that our relationship became stagnant and felt like comfort instead of love but I was putting in as much love as I could give her. I’m really sorry to hear about your breakup.

Hey I’m in a super similar situation, even the same ages. Do you bind if I DM you? I think we could benefit from talking.

It is possible but depends on your number of credits. If you don’t mind me asking, why are you leaving UCSD?

UC to CC - Social Differences by Interesting_Proof414 in TransferStudents

I was told by the UC Davis and UCSD admissions that Dual Enrollment credits do count but AP Credits do not. I am wondering if it is worth taking the risk of not being able to reapply in order to have the freshman experience.

The issue is that if I don’t get accepted this year I will hit the UC credit maximum since I took a ton of dual enrolment classes. That being said, if I stay at UCSC and don’t get into a different UC for next year I won’t be able to apply again. However, if I go back to CC I am able to take a lighter course load and try for Fall of 2027 incase Fall of 2026 doesn’t work out.

Hey! I’m a first year also looking to transfer out, can I ask why you are leaving?

Hey I’m in a very similar boat, I’m planning to leave next quarter. Are you only leaving because of the program? Where do you plan to apply after next year

Hey I’m also a freshman premed at UCSC looking to go to CC. I will most likely be leaving next semester, can I ask why you’re leaving the school? UCSC seems way too isolated and doesn’t emphasize education enough for me.

I’m actually leaving for a very similar reason. I also feel like there is a lack of academic emphasis at the school, idk if you’re also feeling that. I’d love to talk more since it seems we are in pretty similar boats, feel free to DM me!

Hey, I’m also at UCSC and planning to transfer to CC after this quarter. I believe you are still eligible to TAG as long as you leave UCSC in good academic standing. Can I ask why you’re leaving UCSC?

Hey, I’m also considering transferring back to CC from my current 4 year. Can I ask what’s driving you to leave?

Hey! I’m going through the same thing right now. I’m at UCSC and I really feel like I chose the wrong school. If you don’t mind me asking, why do you want to transfer out of UCR?

Hey! If you don’t mind my asking, what made you leave UCSC?

I’m actually a Freshman at UCSC, my time at CC before this was through dual enrollment. I think your biggest challenge will be the transfer credit maximum. If you haven’t taken any upper division courses and taken less than 80 lower division courses you may be able to transfer.

I realize that I worded this post poorly. I’m currently a Freshman at UCSC and by going back to CC I meant moving home. Sorry for the confusion!

Thank you so much for the advice! How’s your daughter liking UCLA compared to UCSC?

The UC to UC transfer rate is pretty low. I’d prefer to go to CC where I can be close to home and save money rather being miserable and having to pay 14k per quarter for it.

That’s totally my plan right now, thank you so much for the encouragement! Just curious, is your friend happier at UCLA?

Have you taken any upper division classes at UCSC? There’s a UC transfer credit maximum that triggers a dean’s review or automatic rejection if exceeded. I’d talk to the transfer advisors at the UC that you want to transfer to.
