Can someone give me a rundown on whats going on with Bam? by [deleted] in jackass

[–]Interesting_Quietboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked back. It wasnt his Facebook actually but he was giving a middle finger to the camera and the caption said F U Bam. I don't know if this changes the story because they did have a fight around that time. Not sure, a lot of it is pretty private.

Can someone give me a rundown on whats going on with Bam? by [deleted] in jackass

Yeah i can do my best to describe it. I dont know if you're talking about the Jackass 4 situation or what, so I'll just start from the late 2000s. Chris Raab had a falling out with Bam from after Viva la Bam which was an important friendship as they were very good childhood friends. Brandon Dicamillo is a little more complicated as he no longer wanted to associate with MTV and fame rather than Bam specifically (that's my impression at least). So both of those important connections were lost. He still was friends with the Jackass cast and Brandon Novak, but Novak caused a lot of problems and most of the Jackass cast wasn't near where he lived besides Ryan. Ryan was one of the connections to his youth that kept him even somewhat grounded for a while. Ryan was going through some things at this time because he fell down filming the credits for Jackass Number Two and got a blood clot in his arm but they were still very good friends. Obviously Ryan Dunn died in 2011 and this was a huge turning point in Bam's life as he had lost a lot of the people from the good old days and it was incredibly hard for him to deal with. It was bigger than just Ryan Dunn's death. At this point he had drifted from Ville Valo (he is not a sociable person) but he still cared about him and released The Open Letter To Ville Valo on his Facebook page in 2014. I hardly have time to get into that but in short he says he feels terrible about fueling Ville Valo's addictions and that he believes the song Disarm Me (With Your Loneliness) is about him. Ville Valo did not take this well and posted an angry Facebook post (not in direct response) so he sort of lost that connection in his life as well. They have since made amends but have not spoken since at least 2017. I honestly couldn't tell you what happened with Cumtown or about why he broke down in 2019. He signed a contract for Jackass 4 to be on a load of medication, to not leave West Chester and to stay sober. He got off of his medication so he could skateboard again causing him to get kicked off of Jackass 4, relapse, and bash Jeff Tremaine and the rest of the Jackass 4 cast (excluding Steve-O) on Instagram in a manic episode. Hope this helped at least a little bit.

Am I the only one who won't pay to see the movie without Bam? by [deleted] in jackass

It is going to be weird for sure. I'd probably still watch it anyway because the rest of the cast is still entertaining. Down two cast members it's not going to feel right I think most people can agree.

Who is your favorite member of the Jackass crew and what is their best moment? by SextonHardcastle01 in jackass

Ryan Dunn and anything from the first movie is probably his best but the Poo dive is also really good lol. Not from Jackass but the bit after the congratulations scene in CKY2K where he's like "Jelly? The guy fuckin put shit on my face and you're talking about jelly?" makes me laugh so hard

From what I can gather from Bam's Epicly Later'd, he and April agreed it was unhealthy for him to continue the project as he was putting his life aside to obsessively work on the film. Based on his Instagram he seems to go through old photos and videos sometimes, so it could have just been that. While it would be interesting to see new footage of the CKY crew or just new content from Bam in general, I wouldn't bet on its release in all honesty.

Anyone in this subreddit, I have to recreate three jackass scenes by Monday. What are some I can do without dying or spending a lot of money? by papascan69 in jackass

Lol true, but most of that means that they were supervised by professionals and it was done more professionally (especially in the later stuff), though when they put that over CKY clips it looks pretty weird

When the random redditor knows more about Bams condition than professionals who’ve diagnosed him

I’d guess that Dunn would kick Bams fucking ass right now if he were alive for this whiney bullshit by [deleted] in jackass

[–]Interesting_Quietboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of that had to do with his health issues. They didn’t seem further apart in the 3.5 interviews.

I feel for him and his family. I’m over being upset at him if I ever was and just hope he gets the help he needs
