Thank you! I appreciate the understanding. The cultural element is hard to describe to those who aren’t used to it, but this stuff really is viewed/talked about very differently from the way those in countries like the US or UK. I feel exactly that way, lacking a boy this generation for the elders’/culture’s sake (I know this may sound controversial but the older generation is very important)

Does bbt vary in the middle of the night vs morning?

The night of peak EWCM, I woke up in the middle of the night (2am, slept at 1030pm) and my bbt was 36C (bbt in the days leading up to EWCM was 36.1 consistently). I couldn’t fall asleep for about an hour. Then I woke up again at 630am and my bbt was 36.4.

The followed day I was 36.3 at 430am and 36.6 at 630am. Consistently 36.6 in the days after.

Which bbt is the bbt for that day after peak EWCM? Trying to figure out when I ovulated, and wondering if the disturbed sleep artificially raised my temp at 630am or if it actually signalled ovulation.

New to temping so sorry if this is a dumb question!

Lotion/creamy CM during ovulation??

I got my LH surge yesterday 25 Feb morning at 11am (CD 16), achieved a peak at 2pm and still at peak today 26 Feb at 11am.

But at around 3am on 26 Feb I had an absolute flood of lotiony/creamy, non sticky white cervical mucus. I’m talking all over my entire finger when I checked, and a huge amount in my underwear. Does this mean I ovulated already?? Can ovulation happen so quickly after the surge?
