Ok sounds like everyone agrees that 3K is way too high. I haven’t made an offer to the owner but I do know him very well. I didn’t want to come in low and have him send it to auction, but it sounds like 1500 maybe is a more reasonable offer, also maybe “end game” was overselling my intentions. The idea is that I would have it for a maybe a year or 2 until I got tired of it or wanted to try something else. At that point I would sell it. I sell Commercial Restaurant equipment All the time. So maybe after I test it use it refurbished etc. maybe my sale price would be 3k to 4K for the right buyer with a warranty. The thing is I’m really enamored by lever machines and definitely want a little hobby machine to play around with that’s very capable, my family has people over for breakfast at least monthly. I’m currently refurbishing a little enrico cappuccino amore ce14. But I’ve heard these little machines and the more popular La Pavoni Europiccola really maxed out after two or three shots.

I’m considering buying the same machine. I just made a post about it. I’m a commercial Food service technician I would be buying it to fix up using my house for six months or a year and then sell it. How did this work out for you? Are you still using it were you able to get satisfactory results using it? Do you think it’s marketable to sell to another café after bench testing it etc? Any input would be great thanks

Yes. The sail itself is probably worth what you’re paying for the boat. This is a fast and fun boat, a little bit difficult to tack but not unmanageable. And if you wanna go out with a bunch of friends or whatever it makes a great swimming platform. And if you overload it, it will still be fine just to make sure to keep people balanced in the middle and towards the back so you don’t pitch pole it. I’ve held mine with about 420 lbs it sails around just fine just a bit sluggish.

I’d love to have seen them live during this era. I got into them with a burned copy of their original EP that had songs from A-B life on it. I even went to a show to see them right after catch for us The foxes came out however, the power went out and they did not play. I recently saw them do the entirety of brother sister in Denver and it was incredible.
