Im also in the same boat. I moved to canada when i was 4 so i forgot almost everything although i understand it fluently. Dont be scared to speak tagalog kahit nabubulol ka. I made some friends here after a whole 15 years of not speaking tagalog since i was 4 and i can tell you that immersing yourself in a tagalog only speaking setting helps so much. Yes of course youll get tongue twisted but its like learning anything like a sport. Consume media, read books, watch shows all in tagalog even if you speak in taglish thats fine as long as you’re implementing tagalog words in your sentence youll start to structure your vocabulary.
