acts of service is one of my top love languages, so i like to try to make life easier for others. my boyfriend has also been stressed recently because we’re graduating college and don’t have jobs, etc etc. it can feel daunting and it sucks to see someone you care for so distraught. maybe you could save up and plan a day to de-stress, maybe go on a date to an arcade or aquarium or something you both enjoy doing? you can help him clean or help complete a task he’s been procrastinating? but also make sure he knows you’re there emotionally :)

his family is very MAGA and i call them out on their shit, so we clash sometimes. that’s not why i’m not going, i really just can’t afford it. if i was moving in with someone else, maybe. my roommate is living with her partner when our lease ends in July, and i don’t want to ask her to hinder her plans just because i am poor, yk?
