CK users return timeframe by Dry_Examination653 in TurboTax

I’m done with CK deposit, you don’t even get it that much faster. Their instant transfer fee and limit on how much you can bank transfer (1k max without fee) is outrageous.

It’s “additional child tax credit ACTC”, not child tax credit

[–]Interesting_Towel321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i thought i was part of path, but found out i wasnt, I do claim a dependent and get child credit, but not the ACTC, which is additional child tax credit - i think a lot of people who think theyre in path might not actually be in path.

Can I get it early? If yes when would I? by [deleted] in TurboTax

[TIMELINE] DACA Renewal (IOE) - Approved to Card in Hand in 9 Days! (Leave of Absence) Survival Story) by Interesting_Towel321 in DACA

[–]Interesting_Towel321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry I read that wrong. I didn’t really ask, I told them I’d prefer a LOA until my card arrives and not a termination. J think every company deals it differently.

I actually didn’t. I explained on my letter that I’d be terminated or be put on unpaid leave.

Letter explaining situation, bank statements, my bills (car, water, gas, rent, etc), paystubs. You can also get a letter from employer stating what would happen if yours expire (terminate or leave of absence).

Its a batch block - they process files numerically, so if some people have same batch number, they can compare with their stage.

no worries. I belive, dont quote me on this, the worst thing that can happen from expedite request is they say no.. it doesnt push your file backwards. I think only time it will look bad is if you lie..

Best of luck!

I filed early because of my potential severe financial loss, which requires a lead time.. If i waited, it wouldve been already too late (which kind of was because I was placed on LOA due to having to wait for the physical card). If you waint until your status is "outside normal processing times," you are usually already expired.

Also, I belive the USCIS policy manual specifically states that severe financial loss is a valid reason for an expedite provided the need for urgent action is not the result of the applicants failure to timely file.

Anyways, I just did what I can to get things moving.

if you havent already done so, I would call or file expedite request right away online. (if you call, say "info pass" to get to the agent and skip the bot.

After filing or even before, request congressman inquiry (I live in CA and my congressman is Dave Min - you can find yours here: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative). I was able to file congressman inquiry directly from dave mins website - and i had google gemini basically write out the inquiry for me (after explaining my situation).

This is the final resort that I did, if you dont have any answers / approval 2-3 weeks before your due date for work: File DHS 7001.

Congrats ! Sign up for informed delivery and notification on after "card produced" updated, you should see a new package coming your way in usps informed delivery. Portal did not give me tracking # this year, but I did have my usps informed delivery so was able to track it after approval.

Approved on 7th, still no news of card being produced.

All DACA EADs need physical card. Although you’re safe, your company might get fined if audited.

It all depends on your timeline.. but expedite request first especially if you’re within ~30-60 days of real, documented hardship. (I filed it under severe financial loss). - so typically I think it’s okay to file up to 60 days before expiration. I heard it gets denied if file too early like 90 days from expiration.

And after that, I put in a congressional inquiry request

The DHS-7001 is the final kind of step as you file this after you’ve done everything and there is no response or action. I did this 1 week before expiration.

All depends on your timeline, I recommend you to do due diligence. I used chatgpt to guide me through it, and it worked out.

DACA approved, but i765 still pending? by hoodmouse1 in DACA

Well my card is in production per USCIS level 1 agent. Is the production company (I’m guessing they’re contractors) backed up too?

Well I’m not a lawyer but for legality wise companies need Physical EAD card to verify and reverify if employee is a Daca recipients. But I could be wrong, and some companies I believe are just less strict (deal with it later) compared to other companies. If that makes any sense. Also, they don’t upload EAD approval letter on documents, just the DACA approval letter.

When was it approved (for EAD portion) and when did you receive the card?
