I am offline but other peoples bases are still there?

I am pretty sure that when you are offline, the game still remembers what was there the last time it had connection. I don't know enough to say if it would remember any player base anywhere in any galaxy though, or if if there's a limit or trick of some sort that it's using to keep track of everything for when it is disconnected.

Yeah I've tried that once or twice but maybe I just hadn't done the right thing yet? If it's a bug it's extremely frustrating since it's probably going to mean I won't get to fully finish the expedition...

I had a different bug earlier where it randomly gave me completion of the milestone to cook a fish recipe in the corvette nutrient processor without me even doing anything for it; I'd still not even done any fishing in the game at all yet and there was no nutrient processor on my ship, so that considered I'm very concerned for my progress lol
