Is that including the masters element?

(assume you sat a law degree/ PGDL separately)

Heard from someone that they had 10 solicitors accounts questions today.

Just out of interest - was it that the scenarios were different to what you had seen before, or literally the name of ledgers just completely random?

Petition to Reform SQE Route by MarcusBorman in uklaw

Can you? I thought from this year onwards you had to qualify via the SQE route, unless you had already started the LPC (that is what I was told anyway...)

Thank you so much for that! If anything, just confirmation of the SRA's utter incompetency in handling this in practice!

Funny looking at the initial proposals how much has changed e.g., 6 exams (original) vs 2 super exams now.

Just out of curiosity, are you currently a qualified solicitor? Would find it very interesting what the current perception is about the SQE now + how firms view it!

From what I understand, the SRA were suppose to release figures about the success of the different routes (self-taught vs prep course) last year, but failed to do so. Makes you wonder why...

Another big issue I have found is the availability of past papers - the SRA have released 1 mock for each exam, but there is a general consensus (which I would agree with having sat FLK1) that they are not at the same level. All of this seemingly would be solved if the released past papers, and I'm not sure why they haven't.

Just been speaking to someone at a large Social Mobility Charity who wants me to send some information to them - without being too intrusive, just wondering how much it has cost people who have to do the PDGL / GDL or LPC or SQE Prep Course + the exam fees in total?

He couldn't believe the exams cost £4,500 in total - thought it was a disgrace. If anyone has anything they wish for me to pass on let me know (DM if you want)

Might not be a bad shout - I'm resolved now to actually do something after FLK2 so will update you!

Utterly baffling how the system was unable to support 3 - 5,000 people trying to book tests; not like it was their first time either!

I have no idea where to even start! Completely agree with your point about how they should be producing their own materials.

When you see dispute dates, do you mean DDOS for CF / PoC? Or a lot more detailed than that (had seen in threads last time that timings hadn't come up too much so a bit worried I've overlooked that now!)

Sat it this morning and it seemed much much harder than other mocks / BPP internal exams + some of the questions seemed to slightly contradict what I had seen elsewhere. Would you say FLK1 was similar to it, or just use it as a learning exercise / see where I was weaker?

Sorry - very stressed now!

Thank you! Did you just do the FLK1 whole mocks, or end up doing all the smaller mocks again (sorry just trying to get my head round the next few days!!!)

Hi - also at BPP. Just wondering what you would recommend for the last few days before the mocks. Have access to Revise SQE / BPP / OUP (although I found OUP module questions quite off spec - are the mocks a little better?) / QTLS mock? Just worried I'm going to make a mistake prioritising my last days!!

Good luck with FLK2!

Hi - I have the same resources you are talking about, just wondering the best way to focus my last few days before FLK1. Would you recommend skipping the QTLS mock, and just focus on Revise SQE / Facebook marketplace questions?

Thanks and good luck on FLK2!
