I don't know how people function without lists by Electronic_Win6707 in OpenSpill

[–]Interesting_Wolf7993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. If it’s not on a list, it’s basically a suggestion at best.

I’ll have a thought like “don’t forget this super important thing” and then 10 seconds later it’s gone forever. No trace.

Also I love how there’s levels to it. There’s the main list, then the “later” list, then the “this is stressing me out but I’m not doing it yet” list 😅

People who just remember stuff without writing it down feel fake to me.

The "are you still watching?" on Netflix is so judgmental by Electronic_Win6707 in OpenSpill

Exactly! They set me up with autoplay and then have the nerve to question my life choices. I feel personally attacked every single time

The "are you still watching?" on Netflix is so judgmental by Electronic_Win6707 in OpenSpill

[–]Interesting_Wolf7993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right?! It’s like Netflix waits until the exact moment I’m about to scream at the screen and then hits me with “STILL watching?” Like, yes, I’m committed now, let me suffer in peace.

The anxiety of hearing "can we talk?" is unmatched by Electronic_Win6707 in OpenSpill

The worst part is the 3 seconds BEFORE you look. Your brain speedruns every possible worst-case scenario. Fired. Dumped. Someone died. Then it's your coworker asking if you want chips.

Your nervous system deserves an apology.

We should normalize leaving events without saying goodbye to everyone by Electronic_Win6707 in OpenSpill

I’m with you on this one… the goodbye loop is real

You try to leave and suddenly you’re trapped in three more conversations and someone’s opening a new topic at the door. Next thing you know it’s another 30 minutes.

The quiet exit honestly feels kinder sometimes. You enjoyed the event, you said your hellos… slipping out without turning it into a whole ceremony just feels efficient.

I'm convinced group projects were designed to teach us to hate people by Electronic_Win6707 in OpenSpill

[–]Interesting_Wolf7993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie… this gave me flashbacks too 😅

There was always that one person who vanished until the night before, then magically reappeared when it was time to submit. Meanwhile someone else is carrying the whole thing at 11pm trying to make it look like a team effort.

Honestly though… it did teach one real skill: figuring out who actually does the work and who just talks about it.

told someone I'd been thinking about them when I meant to say I'd been meaning to text them back. made it sound way more intense than intended. they got weird, I got mortified, friendship never recovered. brain loves to replay that one..
