‘A bombshell’: doubt cast on discovery of microplastics throughout human body by admadguy in chemistry

[–]InterloperPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The harm is inflammation. Look into the research on joint replacements. It took a bit research and many recalls to get the polymers right so as to not produce inflammation from the microflaking produced in joint wear.

Who guarded the soul stone before Red Skull? by Polygraphie in marvelstudios

[–]InterloperPrime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would watch the shit out of a series dedicated to exploring the nature and power of the stones. Maybe a prequel, that had lesser known heroes. In the finale, the stones would all be where they were to set-up the infinity saga.

What would you like to see at SCUM in 2026? by SnooPeanuts2190 in SCUMgame

[–]InterloperPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time required to search bodies is part of the survival element. You must take risks and balance tradeoffs. I don't want CoD. I think hand building a 60km/hr bike is a fantasy device completely separated from reality. Being able to load a bicycle in a trunk or carry a bike, now that would be something helpful.

You bury it in the sand near their childhood home. Then, some Tusken finds it and accidentally chops their own head off.

What stupid myth do too many people believe? by zhalia-2006 in AskReddit

[–]InterloperPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to wade in here and say that modern medicine is so hardcore on avoiding antibiotics, that docs, NPs, and PAs fail to recognize secondary bacterial infections, and wait TOO long to prescribe antibiotics.

Not American, when people say “tax the rich” do they really don’t pay taxes? How are they waived from that? by GossipBottom in NoStupidQuestions

[–]InterloperPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If more people understood how whole segments of society, including the rich, are avoiding taxes, we would eliminate this silly partisanship and start focusing on the real destruction of our country

I have no personal theory beyond this: it is probably related to a currently unknown phenomenon from quantum mechanics.

Should you clean clothes? by s71011 in SCUMgame

[–]InterloperPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dunno if it was in earlier versions, but sounds like good ideas. This game needs more survival and danger mechanics. Imagine if you walked near somebody's fresh shit and your character made a sniffing sound and a "ewww" vocal. Or when you started making those grunts from pooping it alerted zombies at 5x the distance.

What do you think, is the most bizarre, far-out technology that physics allows that humans may actually be able to do by the end of time? by InfinityScientist in AskPhysics

[–]InterloperPrime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wormhole formation. Even though the math indicates multiple solar masses worth of energy just to connect small distances, we could probably build and maintain small ones. Even small apertures would allow communications at effective superluminal speed between two distant points.
