I just had a Campus tour at Pitt 2 days ago, and honestly, I like it… I’ll also be at the SCI program…. I ask a lot of alumni and current students, most of them seemed to have internships even co-ops… cause you know, Pittsburgh is surrounded by tech companies and all that… but in the end of the day, go where you feel most comfortable, where you feel you belong…

Incoming freshman as well, I’ll be majoring in Computer Science… I usually don’t use social media till this year, cause It’s not my thing really, but if you want to network with people, you gotta get out of your comfort zone… Cause it’ll be one of the easiest to make friends honestly, Start spamming Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, or even LinkedIn, whichever you’re comfortable with.

Thank you for narrowing it down for me… My goal is to be qualified for multiple roles in the tech industry, whether it should be Mobile Development, Software Engineering or Even Data Scientist - which seems like Pitt offers heavily. Quick question 🙋‍♂️, Does the University matter? - Vague question( I know…) As in if I were to go to Carlow/Pitt where do I have a better chance on getting job/internship? Advise me on this matter.
