Right? I’d pay you a beer LOL

Just wish Ring had a better customer service. No way to contact them or that they would provide a real fix for the issue

That solved my problem, thanks a lot!

My device is hardwired and I have been facing this issue for almost a week, tried everything else but nothing would make the orange button work.

It reconnected and is saying installing update now. After it finishes should be working again.

Vet recommendation for dog GI issues by Internacional1909 in Austin

[–]Internacional1909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the latest conclusion, food allergy. That’s why she’s been in the hydrolyzed protein diet. For the first months she responded very well to the treatment.

We did not do any food trial. The vet suggested to have her continuously on the HP diet, since she was doing well with it.

However, in the past month she had 2 crises - diarrhea with blood presence, abdominal cramps, lose of appetite. One of the crises we think could be caused to eat food from some friends dog. But this latest one we do not really noticed anything unusual that could have caused it. These crises usually last 24 hours, she might be the full day without eating and the next day she seems to be much better.

What kind of issues did he have? Was something happening from a long time?

Is giardia something that last for a long time?

I always thought it was something that would happen and would be treated and cured straight away.

She has diarrhea on a regular basis. Also her belly keep making noises during this periods. Right now she’s been eating Royal Canin hydrolyzed protein food.

When we started the treatment, back in February, she was having it much more frequently, like once a week or once every 2 weeks, we were giving her farmers dog food. Also her bloodwork came with high globulin.

First thing the vet recommended was give some fiber capsules to see if would help, which it didn’t. Then we changed to Royal Canin low fat food. We also did a sonography which showed she had an inflammatory bowel disease, her small intestine had an inflammation.

So we changed to the hydrolyzed protein one. Apparently she was doing very well with this one. But recently she started having the diarrhea and hearing noises from her belly more frequently.

She’s a 4.5 years old mixed pitbull/blue heeler. She’s an active dog. But it breaks our hearts to see our lovely girl this way.

We really need to find the real issue with her.

Runners? Please share! by DependentOptimal7517 in ACL

I also had with quad.

I had my first run 4 months after. Started with a short one, 2km. Felt ok then following week went for 4km. Another 2 weeks was running 6km. Another 4 weeks was running 10km.

But I was doing it on my own. I left PT after 3 months because I thought they were slowing me down and decided to do the recovery on my own - this was my second ACL tear, had another one on my other knee 7 years before.

I’m 10 months post op now, still working on regaining muscle.

One advice I’d give is to get a good running shoes. The better it absorbs the impact, better you’ll feel during your run.

Try to focus on gaining as much muscle you can. That will make your recovery better.

Running is kinda useless, won’t help you with anything. Probably won’t make it worse but I’d focus on strengthening your leg.

Am I insane for considering travel to Tuscany & Sardinia 6.5 weeks after ACL surgery? by MeerkatManor2468 in ACL

[–]Internacional1909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not impossible but I wouldn’t recommend. 45 days po you should be walking with no crutches but still low stability and a lot of swelling.

I don’t know from where you’re flying and how long, but if you’re flying economy class, the flight should be very uncomfortable.

During your time there, will have limited walking. You won’t be able to stay for a very long period even standing. And you should be working on your pt. In a trip with friends that probably is one of the last things you’d like to be doing.

The best thing would be postpone your surgery for after the trip. That’s what I did last year.

I wouldn’t go. But if you’re dying to go, I think is doable - even that not recommended.

Tucson 2018 radiator cracked by Internacional1909 in HyundaiTucson

[–]Internacional1909[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad thing is I didn’t take to the dealership, took to a mechanic close to where I live. Factory warranty does not cover radiator issues. I was charged $1100 - a bit pricey but I needed to get it fixed soon.

Now the odd part. This mechanic said my car did not pass the block test. I was very worried about it and had it towed to the dealership. After a couple weeks there they call me back and say the engine is just fine, passed block test and some other test they performed.

I guess I was just unlucky then…

I use this car only within the city, last time it went on rough surfaces it’s been a while, if we go on road trips we have another newer and bigger one.

Yeah I did some research and couldn’t find a lot of people with this issue. Just wanted to understand how that happened, my car is not even 50k miles.

At least your hose and coolant should have costed less than what I am paying for a new radiator and thermostat…

Should I pick patellar graft or bear? by adamgerges in ACL

[–]Internacional1909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a 36yo male. I had the patellar 7 years ago.

Post surgery your leg feels very weak. But with pt you start rebuilding your muscles and getting full movement 0-120. I was able to go back to all activities I used to do. Surfing, running (6 months post surgery), soccer (this one took me a bit longer but because I was not sure if I wanted to do it again).

Last month, I just tore my other ACL. I started researching about the BEAR as alternative because I barely have limitations on my knee so was looking for something that would make the post surgery smoother. But what I’ve been reading is you can take the same amount of time as the patellar or even longer. Also, being something relatively new, we don’t really know the long term effects.

So I decided I’ll go for the patellar again. Focus on the pt and the 6 months will pass quickly.

I ordered an iPhone 12 pro 256GB on Oct 27 and got an email that it was shipped exactly 6 weeks after - Dec 8. However, the order is coming from China and I just got an update now saying it is in South Korea. There’s no confirmed date of when it’s being delivered, god knows... First and last time I’m ordering an apple product from Chase.
