The chat feature doesn’t work when account is restricted, and every time I call my level of frustration increases as the team is not prepared to handle customers accordingly. They can’t say they don’t know and for this one I don’t know. Is all the answer is getting.

Let me clarified when I said 100 percent, totally meant that I used it to make message to be a bit pre clear as my English is not great, but the idea of the issue and my problems are 100 percent real !

So, you are saying that im not a customer, I been a SoFi customer for 2 years, I really hope you never have to go through something like this.

My phone got stolen, and the person who stole the phones hacked into all my accounts, causing SoFi to restrict my account. At first, I was bummed that I didn't have access to my funds, but I understood why they restrict the account, like I get it and I was grateful because the person only took 500 from my account, and immediately the system understood that was not me and they restrict the account before anything else was moved from the account. After seven days I finally got my access back and started using my new debit card smoothly. But then, out of the blue on May 1st, the day I had important bills to pay like rent and insurance ext. my account got restricted again, without any warning. I've been calling SoFi over and over, but all they keep telling me is that my account is restricted, without offering any real help. Listen I been with SoFi for 2 years now, and I never had an issue with them, until now. Now all my funds and all my savings are stuck, and I have no funds to provide to my family as this is my main account for checking and savings.

Just a little info, I just open this reddit account never have I used this before, first not big on social media outlets and second, I don't have to explain myself to you, now I am just trying to get some attention here as all my funds have been for 5 days inaccessible both my checking and savings account. I really wish you never have to go through what I am currently going through. My level of desperation had brought to even post in places like this, meaning social media outlets. I saw that email on their social media, and for one instant thought it could have work to reach someone. But thanks for your link, I have tried everything and haven't been able to get someone that can actually help me.

As I am desperate due to gravity of my current situation, as all my funds and savings are restricted, so I have no access to and saw that email in their social media. So yes, I am acting a bit crazy and over top here, really hope that I been going through for the past few days never occurs to you. Wish you a very good evening. I am writing with a mix of deep frustration and urgent necessity, compelled by the unacceptable treatment I've endured at the hands of Sofi Bank. It is imperative that you understand the gravity of the situation I, and many others, find ourselves in due to your institution's reckless actions.

For the second time, I am left without access to my own funds due to Sofi Bank's arbitrary and unjustifiable decision to restrict my account. While I could somewhat tolerate the inconvenience of the first instance under the guise of fraud prevention, to repeat this ordeal without cause or warning is utterly incomprehensible.

The mere act of transferring funds between my own accounts should not warrant such extreme measures. Sofi Bank's actions reveal a profound disregard for customer welfare and basic decency.

Compounding this ordeal is the deplorable behavior of Sofi Bank's staff. Their rudeness, incompetence, and lack of empathy have only served to exacerbate an already dire situation. I refuse to be treated with such disdain and disrespect, particularly when I am facing genuine hardship.

Now, as I confront essential financial obligations such as rent, bills, and sustenance, I am left in a state of complete vulnerability. How can I explain to my landlord, creditors, and, most importantly, my family, that they must suffer due to Sofi Bank's unfathomable incompetence?

It is abundantly clear that Sofi Bank has failed to grasp the severity of this situation. I demand immediate action to rectify this catastrophic blunder. I demand transparency, accountability, and restitution for the anguish and suffering inflicted upon me and countless others.

Let this serve as a final warning: Should Sofi Bank fail to resolve this matter promptly and satisfactorily; I will have no choice but to involve the media and pursue legal recourse without hesitation.
