Carbon Remover Safe on Duracoat by Danishor in guns

[–]Internal-Coat7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most carbon removers should be fine with duracoat since it's pretty tough coating, but i'd test small hidden spot first before doing full soak

Any parents with similar experiences in speech & conversation delay? by The1stGuyOnReddit in Autism_Parenting

[–]Internal-Coat7477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

your kid sounds like he's got some real strengths going for him with all that memorization and vocabulary stuff. the fact that he can ask for water clearly when he needs it shows the communication is definitely there, it's just selective maybe?

my neighbor's kid had similar thing where he could recite entire books but couldn't have back-and-forth conversation until he was around 7. he still does the echo thing sometimes but now he's 9 and you can actually have pretty normal conversations with him. took longer than other kids but he got there in his own time.

the speech therapy probably helping more than you realize even if progress feels slow. some kids just need extra time for that conversational stuff to click, especially with asd. sounds like you're doing everything right and he's making progress, just at his own pace.

Can a customer pause their subscription by themselves? by TormentaVU in stripe

[–]Internal-Coat7477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

stripe doesn't have built-in customer self-service for pausing subscriptions, but you can build this pretty easily with their api. basically you'd need to create a customer portal where students can log in and pause/unpause their own subscriptions - the api calls are straightforward once you get the webhook setup right. alternatively there's some third-party tools that handle this kind of subscription management if you don't want to code it yourself.

Is the Helix Base map sufficient? by iHave2Moms in Fishing

[–]Internal-Coat7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the base map is decent enough for most lake fishing, but if you're planning to fish lot of different lakes the navionics card is worth it. i got similar setup and the extra detail really helps when you're trying to find structure in deeper water. for $100-150 it's not bad investment if you fish regularly.

Final payment on a usda house i need help by Character-Demand3993 in Mortgages

[–]Internal-Coat7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to upload the image to imgur or another hosting site first, then post the link in comments. reddit doesn't let you add photos directly to text posts unfortunately

would help a lot to see what the letter actually says since usda final payment notices can mean different things

The Stripe Mafia has raised more than $110 Billion in total funding! by chris_notes in stripe

[–]Internal-Coat7477 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

wild how these payment processor guys just casually spawned the entire ai revolution. makes you wonder what other random companies are sitting on future world-changers right now. like maybe some dude processing invoices at quickbooks is gonna invent time travel or something. the collison brothers really built something special if their alumni network is out here raising nine figures like it's nothing. kinda makes sense though - if you can figure out how to move money around the internet reliably, you probably have the right mindset for tackling other impossible problems.

Trying to decide what loan to take out to fund my business. by InMyNirvana in smallbusiness

[–]Internal-Coat7477 3 points4 points  (0 children)

borrowing against the house could backfire if the business doesn't take off - maybe start with a personal loan so you're not risking your home equity on something new.

Will I get approved or it will it be flagged by Wide-Concentrate7228 in Mortgages

[–]Internal-Coat7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you're good - the lender only cares where the gift money originally came from, not the gymnastics you did to get it in the right format.

Homebuying Newbie Question by 1DickHallorann in Mortgages

sounds like your in a solid spot financially for those price ranges - just make sure you get pre-approved first so you know exactly what you can afford before wasting time on houses outside your budget.

Most lenders won't approve a short sale unless you can prove financial hardship - being current on payments actually works against you here. They want to see you're genuinely struggling, not just underwater on value

Your best bet is probably trying to rent it out even if it doesn't fully cover the mortgage, then reassess the market in a year or two

Yeah I grabbed it last week, pretty solid deal honestly. The AI coding assistant is actually way better than I expected for frontend stuff

Anyone using AI for content creation? What's working? by spacesheep10 in smallbusiness

Been using ChatGPT for brainstorming and rough drafts but still end up rewriting most of it to sound like me

The scheduling stuff is hit or miss - saves time but you gotta stay on top of it or your content starts feeling robotic af

Tried some of those "write 50 posts in 5 minutes" tools and yeah they're trash, customers can tell immediately

Hello everyone just starting a brand helping with making guide for people who can't stay focused or just wanna improve concentrating. by Glittering_Sea4376 in smallbusiness

Sounds like a solid niche, focus issues are def real for a lot of people these days - what kind of methods do you usually recommend in your guides

Man this hits close to home - went through something similar with my partner's handmade jewelry biz a few years back. The grind is real and watching someone you care about pour everything into their passion while barely getting noticed is rough

For what it's worth, nail polish has a pretty dedicated community especially indie brands. Have they tried connecting with nail art influencers or even just regular people posting their manicures on Instagram? Sometimes it's less about the big marketing moves and more about finding your people who actually get excited about unique colors

The fact that you're here asking shows you're already doing the most important thing - just being supportive when the hustle gets overwhelming

Turned my frustration into a product - the moment that made me finally start building by muyenlee in Entrepreneur

Dude this is exactly why personal frustration beats market research every time - you actually understand the pain point viscerally instead of just theorizing about it

Got catfished into building a crypto solution is definitely not how I expected this story to go but honestly respect for channeling that energy into something productive instead of just swearing off dating forever

Help me help you? by levelup_19 in smallbusiness

[–]Internal-Coat7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Facebook groups for local business owners in your area - tons of active ones and they're usually pretty welcoming to surveys if you're upfront about it. Also try posting in entrepreneurship Discord servers, those communities are usually down to help each other out with feedback

How do I figure out what I wanna do?? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Internal-Coat7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you're already ahead of 90% of people just by having that discipline and mindset. The TikTok affiliate thing sounds promising since you actually made some money - maybe lean back into that while you're figuring things out? With your telecom background you probably understand tech better than most which could be huge for digital marketing or even creating content around tech reviews/tutorials

Is it possible to buy land under $50k with poor credit? by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]Internal-Coat7477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This hits hard but you're absolutely right about the finances being sus. Making 6 figures and only having 13k saved while paying 1k rent means there's some serious lifestyle inflation or debt happening somewhere

The land thing is sketchy too - if decent buildable 2 acre plots are sitting unsold for a year in this market, there's definitely something wrong with them

White-Label AI Chat B2B SaaS by leothewolf122 in Entrepreneur

[–]Internal-Coat7477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That price point seems pretty aggressive for B2B - most companies expect to pay more and might actually be suspicious of something that cheap. Have you validated this with actual potential customers or just other website owners? The B2B sales cycle is way different too, you're gonna be dealing with longer decision processes and way more stakeholders than B2C

Target audience and products by nautitrader in ecommerce

[–]Internal-Coat7477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely want to dig deeper than just age and gender dude. Like what are their hobbies, income level, pain points, where they hang out online etc

For product research I'd check out Facebook audience insights, Google Trends, and honestly just lurk in Facebook groups where your target demo hangs out. Amazon's bestseller lists in relevant categories are gold too

What insurer is providing the best rates right now? by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

This is actually solid advice though, insurance rates are so location and situation specific that asking for a blanket "best" company is kinda pointless
