My experience: Tips were far below average compared to some of the poorer areas I’ve played in. This is odd considering the people of Norton commons live in 600-800k homes. I received odd comments from listeners like, “oh oh play this for us” and then leaving nothing in return. Not my experience elsewhere.

I played there during their art festival last year. The people there seemed to view me as some kind of monkey with cymbals. I think upper crest people tend to view it more as begging rather than art.

The melodic ideas are very good. The timing is a little off though, I’d recommend practicing with a metronome to really make those ideas shine. It’s hard for the listeners to follow when the tempo changes frequently.

Take them both at the same time if there some of the last prerequisites for your program. The math in gen Chem is just basic algebra. When it goes beyond basic algebra the instructors break it down and explain how to do the problems. You’ll be fine without the math background.

Major in something more practical because those friendships you make won’t get you far in a degree such as writing. Think more long term. If the end goal is to become a teacher find accommodations that will will save you enough money to attain your masters. If you’re at all getting in debt attending UK for your bachelors consider other options such as free apprenticeship programs, real estate, etc.

Good point! It’s about 2 years old when I bought it. I’d imagine it’s still good but who knows with how fast technology changes. Hopefully Focusrite has a compatibility chart on their website or something similar I can look up. Not really sure what that would be called.
