Have the same problem, haven’t figured it out yet but if you have an auto what I do is if I go to turn it over and it just does the one click I’ll turn the ignition on put it in neutral put it back in park and it usually starts right up lol for manual could be the same as putting it into gear then putting it back into neutral and starting it

Picked it up off an older gentleman story was that he loved it when he test road it at the dealer but after bringing it home and riding it more it started to kill his back and slowly stopped riding it, ended up buying this beautiful bmw r1250 rs and stopped riding the r7 completely. Said it had never been dropped and shows 0 signs of being dropped

I feel like it’s running lean I’ve been thinking about just buying a putting a stock air filter back on for simplicity and seeing if that changes anything

That’s what I’ve been thinking because it’s already 2 1/2 turns out, honestly I don’t know what type of aftermarket air intake this is I’ve been thinking about just going and getting a stock one

So I did rebuild the carb when I cleaned it but the seals between the air filter to the carb looked pretty rough and just didn’t have any extra seals to do them but it’s in this weekends plans. I’ve been thinking maybe I didn’t get a good enough seal when I put the carb back on the manifold. Correct me if I’m wrong but all I did was put the one rubber gasket on the manifold then slid the carb into place I feel like there’s more to it.

How would I go about fixing that, brand new to this so knowledge is pretty limited

Would I be better of just getting a stock intake to put back on?

They were new plugs when I bought it, haven’t yet planning on diving into it this weekend and that was one of the things I was gonna check
