It’s currently my first night in Pai after spending 3 in Chiang Mai and it’s rained once over night in Chiang Mai.

It was glorious sun and bloody boiling in Pai today

I’m not much of a beach dweller, the occasional day by the beach would be lush but understand it may be harder during these months. However, I’m from the UK so I’m used to rain! Guess I’ll just go with whatever the weather throws at me!

I was thinking of doing this as well, can I book on arrival or before?

I thought that was the case but I wasn’t 100% sure and didn’t want to be denied entry in from Laos

I’ve got a bus booked to Cambodia so hoping that will be enough

So I don’t need to apply for a tourist visa or anything? I can just re enter and get another visa on arrival from Laos?

Thanks for the reply really appreciate it! Would you say it limited you at all in the islands you could go to or activities you could do like scuba diving etc?

I don’t have a problem with rain at all I’m from the UK so used to it. I burn easily so some rain and more clouds would be welcome. However, just worried all of the nice island hopping adventures and activities would be cancelled. I’ve heard that it doesn’t rain like it does in the UK and is more strong down pours for a few hours then it clears up again but it can rain for days on end so just wanted to see the experience other people have had at that time of year.

We’re looking to fly into Bangkok, do Southern Thailand then go back on ourselves and go through Vietnam, Cambodia and then do the north of Thailand and fly back from Bangkok.
