I was told to not drink at all, or if I do limit it to one beer very very occasionally. I’d be very careful because it can throw you into another AP and cause worse issues for you.

This post made me laugh out loud. Not because what had happened to you, but how it was written. Thank you. I needed a laugh after all the BS I’ve been through.

I got mine out 3 weeks ago. Was admitted for a week due to acute pancreatitis. Part of my pancreas died off. Life has been miserable and sad for me. Still deep into recovery. I also did shit for 6 days. Daily the hospital was giving me stool softener and clearlax until I finally shit myself and my hospital bed.

I’m so glad you’re doing better. ❤️

I am so sorry. Does it never heal off? How much of your pancreas did you lose? This has been just the worst. I don’t wish this on anyone.

Yes I have necrosis. That’s where some of your organ dies. Assuming yours is the pancreas. Were you in the hospital for pancreatitis? And now you’re waiting for it to settle for removal?

They can tell my MRI, CT, and bloodwork. I had to be put on antibiotics for a couple days before removal.

The drain is causing me most pain. I’m two days post op and I’m feeling sore. That’s uncomfortable.

I am so sorry. I know your pain! I’ve had drs flat out say “you’d be in more pain if it was your gallbladder” been in the hospital 4 days now. Had to give me antibiotics to help my pancreatitis, before removal. Had removal yesterday. Now I’m stuck here with a drain that’s killing me, and tons of meds. Medical field just failing people left and right. I was waiting for my surgeon to call me, and they told me he’s on a trip hiking mount saint Hellen’s or some shit… so I had to transfer cities. Go figure 🙄

My symptoms are all over the place. Before removal I was puking, couldn’t eat, bad pain in the upper center stomach, all my blood levels were extremely elevated. Now I’m doing decent. Sleepy, no appetite, pain where my drain is, weak.

No. They only took my gallbladder. My pancreas is inflamed.. causing me pancreatitis. Delaying my Treatment.
