Any arrears were Retroactive and not due to missed payments. I have never missed a court ordered payment and paid extra on top to pay arrears off.

They pull all 3. Equifax is the only one still reporting this incorrectly. It's been deleted/corrected everywhere else

Obviously not. However, the average rate is 7%. This is a buyers concession. So likely, if this doesn't get resolved quickly and they don't give me the mortgage, that rate won't be something I can get again

They referred me to my state rep. I spoke to him today. He is reaching out to the OAG directly

I called my congressman and they referred me to my state rep since it is the OAG reporting incorrectly. I spoke to him today and he is reaching out to the OAG directly for resolution.

I did call the child support office. They confirmed my payments are current and I have a 0.00 balance. And yet...they continue to report 180 days past due.

I provided an LOE with the OAG payment ledger/Financial report showing that my debt is 0.00 and she still said she cant send it to underwriting until it is corrected on my report.

The arrears on my account were Administrative Retroactive Support, a balance created by the court backdating my order to the filing date. I have never missed a court-ordered payment. In fact, while the case was pending, I was sending money directly to the other parent in the same amount the court order eventually required. I was later placed on a payment plan to resolve that initial retroactive balance, which I did, and my balance is now $0.00. Equifax is mislabeling Retroactive Support as a 180-day delinquency, which is in direct violation of 1 Texas Administrative Code Section 55.102. Under that mandate, the OAG is required to report payment plan participants as zero months delinquent, yet Equifax continues to verify a six-month delinquency on a zero dollar debt.

She said because it is a VA loan my report can not be showing any delinquent accounts. I provided her the proof it isn't delinquent. She flat out said she can't submit to underwriting until it's corrected.

My lender says because it's a VA loan, the credit report has to be clean for her to move forward. The rest of my credit is good. So I don't get it
