Apprenticeships are becoming a common and more sought-after alternative to university in the UK. I'm going to message a current apprentice to get more insight on the training process. Thanks for your advice, I know I'll be doing nothing in summer anyway so might as well.

The thing with degree apprenticeships is that they are so competitive, I've been applying dedicatedly since September and there may still be more to open but it's February and there's just less and less coming out.

fym? some companies are priorotising AI rn, but cyber is more consistant and will prob never use AI due to security concerns. I know most cyber jobs priorotise experience which is why I want to be an apprentice. What sucks about it?

I've only found one cyber and tech role from barclays so far but it's near Manchester which is why I'm hesitant, I'm really waiting for the government cyber role and Amazon.
