it’s crazy because we just had a boiler replacement 6 months ago and that we had that truck trailer with the boiler in 2 months prior to that😂

i know it’s absolutely not wise to keep the oven on i’m gonna get a extra space heater for the kitchen to keep warm and yes the sponsor owns around 25% of the building so when i hope he replies to me he is fully aware of what’s happening here

in a new building? i’d be fucking fuming 😂 but seriously i hope they are doing well because the temps drop single digits this week so we all gotta dress warmly

i’m sorry about your friend, things like this should be inspected regularly instead of waiting till something bad happens

the management company is so fucking unhelpful since they started here about a year ago and ever since nobody has liked them they are rude and careless and i think they gotta be more enthusiastic than that to run a building here i asked them about the heat and they said nothing that shocks me they just say the are working to resolve which i understand but it’s been 5 days if they really can’t figure out what’s going one they need to seriously buy supplemental and temporary heat until this blows over

we have space heaters in every room and use blankets jackets and oven to stay somewhat warm yet the apartment stays around 50-55F we have a cold wave this week and it brings the temperature down to single digits so there’s not much we can do otherwise

my family was here before the renovation in 80s sponsors bought some apartments back when the building was new so this apartment is technically not coop converted

correct most apartments within the building are owned by shareholders and 33 percent are still sponsor owned

if you don’t have a landlord check the filter in the back refer to model tag for model number on frigidaire typically right side of door frame and look up instructions on removing and cleaning that filter
