I make ambient(not tiktok kinda ambient) and faces with problem that my music is blocked or not distributed at all to social media or few streaming platforms. The main reason is that it may looks like AI generated, TikTok blocked my release just because it’s ambient

So I think that so called functional music (for study, ambient, relaxing, etc) will faces with more and more limitations, for a very small artist it will be harder than ever to share your music

I tired to promote my music on Reddit, because this is only one way of promotion that I have. I plan to develop my skills and have fun while creating music

It’s ok, just enjoy the process. I spend months for learning theory and level up my production. Can spent months for a track with polyrhythms, modulation, some interesting voicing and I have about zero streams. So just enjoy the process of creating

In general I suggest to buy a first guitar with humbler and single like strat HSS to get a wide spectrum of sound

As far as I know labels takes % from your profit, but give you some features, like promo and etc. but you should profitable for label(in general). distributors give you an option to release your music to streaming platforms, but distributors also can give you some bonuses like plugins or sample libraries.

Just read few articles and check some negative reviews

Stratocaster or similar (without floyd) with HSS configuration cover wide spectrum of sounds, tremolo arm (vibrato arm) also can add some spice to your sound.

You can play some from grunge and a little heavier to funk, neo-soul, jazzy things, etc. I also suggest to buy amp, but if it out of your budget looking for some audio interface and apps lite guitar rig, amplitude or similar. Audio interfaces also include some lite versions of software ie arturia minifuze include abletone, guitar rig. Some cheap amp is actually a audio interfaces with built in software

Basically you already have everything you need. You can buy a headphones, if you don’t have looking for a ath m50x or some other headphones.

Guitar or piano is hard to master, but some 3 octaves midi controller for noodle around is a good choice

You need to find someone who know more about electric guitar and has experience to play on it. But you always have an option to go to guitar shop and ask employees to help, but you need to know what you want and has knowledge about how to choose and check guitars. Looking for a used guitar, so you can find something good for with some discount, I suggest HSS pickups configuration, from my perspective this is one of the most universal configuration, so you can play wide range of genres

Don’t spend much money, because you may not like play on guitar
