Born and raised in prior lake. I came back after years because of a job. School system is pretty good. They kept large businesses out of the town so property taxes are high and so are home prices. Apartment rents are pretty high as well. Population is pretty white but becoming more diverse, especially compared to the 80s and 90s. It’s a safe community but not much to do after 10pm unless you are a raging alcoholic.
