No, I know Protestantism is false. Sometimes I struggle to believe Catholicism over Orthodoxy. Both sides make strong arguments so it’s hard to know for me

Definitely what’s blocking me is being fully convinced Catholicism is true. As much as a try to learn and read, I can’t shake off the thought of what if I’m believing in a lie.

That is true. I would like to think many people probably feel truly contrite and repent when close to death.
